DEATH

No, Not That Death... no arpeggios and double kickdrums here, just some stripped down golden Detrot rock from the mid 70's. Three Brothers from Detroit (not just brothers, but brother brothers, you follow?) started cranking out some MC5 / Alice cooper sounding proto-punk. This record is made up of seven tracks recorded between 1973 and 1975 but nvere was released until 2009. So the story goes, Death signed with columbia records and were ready to put out this record only if they would changed thier name to something a little less morbid. The band said Fuck off, and it sat for a good 34 years.
I've been listening no stop thanks to Eli who played this for me the other night (along with the Slap Chop Remix). Thanks bro-ham.
