Matthew is Kool Kieth's angriest and most critically dumped upon records. The story goes that Kool Keith got dropped from his label midway though recording. He went on to write lyrics about standing outside a the studio buck naked with a hockey mask, shooting and extorting record executives and punking mainstream rappers. Maybe the bad reviews were because this album just creeped people out. This record might be my favorite Kool Keith album. A big middle finger to the record industry and it's slimeball cronies.
